Sculptural installations, textiles & paper-based forms
Georgia Gremouti’s practice moves between sculpture, installation and performance. Working with textile, paper and everyday materials, she develops folded, pleated and modular structures that relate to the scale of the body and expand into space. The works below are organised in three overlapping strands – performances & installations, pleated textile sculptures and paper works – offering an overview of this evolving vocabulary.
Performances & Installations
Live and site-responsive works developed in relation to specific spaces or contexts such as museums, historical houses and public sites. These projects engage the body within constructed environments and temporal actions, often using wearable elements or sculptural setups.

Textile & Wearable Sculptures
Textile & Wearable SculpturesFabric-based sculptural pieces developed through folding, pleating and gathering techniques. The work spans from large-scale wall or spatial pieces to body-related forms to small-scale or wearable pieces, extending the sculptural vocabulary onto and around the body.

Paper Works & Light Structures
Paper Works & Light StructuresSculptural works in paper, from folded wall-mounted pieces and small sculptures to spatial light structures and installations. Developed through repetition and modular folding techniques, they explore rhythm, surface and volume, and the capacity of paper to move from flat sheet to three-dimensional form.
